After attending Belmont University, Erik Foster took an opportunity to travel on the road in the positive country quartet, the Fox Brothers as their bass singer. He spent the next few years singing at fairs and festivals across the country. During that time, the group made numerous television appearances on TNN including The Music City News Country Awards, CCMA Music Awards (Ryman Auditorium), Nashville Now, Crook & Chase, Prime Time Country, Music City Tonight, and the Grand Ole Opry. While off the road, Erik would sing Bass for numerous choral publishers and sing background vocals for various country artists.

 

    Over the years, God has blessed Erik's ability to work with people both in the church and in the professional world of recording. After settling in Indiana, he was able to connect with Gaither Music Group when a producer for Praise Gathering decided to have Erik join them on a worship project. Since then, Erik has become widely used as a background singer in the Indianapolis studio circuit.

 

   In 2008, Erik began "Foster Music Group, Inc" in an effort to expand his musical abilities to help others realize their dreams of making their music come to life. He currently has multiple accounts with producers and professionals that utilize his abilities to write/arrange Background vocals and create Lead Sheets and Orchestrations.     Recently, Erik's company, Foster Music Group, launched their very first Choral book, "Everlasting Praise VOL 1" featuring fresh new choral arrangements by Lura Foster. Currently, Erik travels back and forth between Nashville and Indianapolis for Choral sessions, Voiceovers, and Custom BGV recordings.
