About Mike Zachary, D.M.A. - Experienced Pianist and Music Theory Instructor
Mike Zachary is an online music instructor based in Spring, Texas. He has taught piano and music theory for more than 40 years, including at the college level. Dr. Zachary earned the degree Doctor of Musical Arts in piano from the American Conservatory of Music in Chicago. He remains active as a church musician. His scholarly work on improvisation and C. P. E. Bach was recently published by the National Early Music Association in Cambridge, England, but his primary focus remains on serving church musicians.
